INTRO TO AYURVEDA WORKSHOP – English Version

Great workshop about Ayurveda, yoga and nutrition. New to Ayurveda? This Introduction to Ayurveda workshop is the perfect way to begin your Ayurvedic practice.

During this 2,5hrs session, we will look into the basic principles of Ayurveda and nutritional guidelines together. This intensive theoretical/practical workshop is focused on the perspective and science of Ayurveda, the tridosha and lifestyle to keep the balance and happiness. The objective of this online workshop is to awaken the knowledge and restore balance and health in different techniques. We will learn how to understand our body.

Ayurvedic medicine evolved in India about 5000 years ago and is considered to be the world’s oldest healthcare system. It is named for the Sanskrit word Ayurveda, meaning the “science of life.” Ayurvedic medicine is entirely holistic. Its adherents strive to create harmony between the body, mind, and spirit, maintaining that this balance prevents illness, treats acute conditions, and contributes to a long and healthy life.  Ayurveda views each person as unique with individual needs. We may all be human but we have slightly different physiologies and emotional tendencies. Ayurveda teaches that for this reason, each person’s path toward optimal health is also unique.

Ayurveda is the science of bringing balance into our lives so we may find harmony. Through this online workshop, we will learn that the key to health is a matter of balance. The elements that make up the world around us are also within. Just as the seasons change, our state of equanimity is effected. We will learn tools on what balance means for you and how to stay steady in an ever-changing world.

Ayurveda, Yoga’s sister science offers a body of wisdom designed to help you stay vital while realizing your full human potential. Providing guidelines on ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet, behaviour and the proper use of our senses, Ayurveda remind us that health is the balanced and dynamic integration between our body, mind, spirit, and environment.
